Akin Gains Fifth Grassroots Straw Poll Win

Park Hills – Todd Akin led yet another grassroots straw poll this weekend, receiving 85% of votes cast for the U.S. Senate primary in Missouri. Voters from several counties gathered in Park Hills, MO Saturday at the Mineral Area College to cast their votes for several Missouri offices including U.S. Senate, U.S. Congress, and Governor. The St. Francois County Republicans organized and conducted the poll that was open to all Missouri voters.

Akin Says Obama Has "No Credibility" On Economy and Jobs

Today Congressman Akin criticized President Obama as “tone deaf to America” on the morning of the State of the Union address. “The president has no credibility in the area of jobs and energy,” said Akin. “He has blocked the keystone pipeline which offers real private sector jobs, builds our American energy infrastructure, and reduces our dependence on Middle Eastern oil.
